I don't know about MySpace crap, because my sister and sister-in-law got me involved in Xanga, but now I'm bummed that I don't know how to use MySpace, because Flight of the Conchords have their own page and they're my new favorite thing. Why could they not have picked Xanga?

I was feeling a bit nostalgic and remembered a website of which a friend told me. It was about 10 years ago that I had started reading it, and it was unlike anything I'd ever before seen. It was blogging back in the days before there was even a word for it. *Disclaimer--the guy who wrote it uses plenty of swear words and some of the stories are dirty, so don't read it if that sort of thing offends you. I imagine that this link won't come up as a hyperlink, but it gives the information you need to find the site http://www2.hawaii.edu/~dereksmi/stories/index.html Here's to you, Derek Smith, for paving the blogging path.

I had fun spending a week in Provo. I played with my baby nephews. I shopped with my sister and sister-in-law. I went to a mini-family reunion. I connected with a great friend from college. I met up with a recently returned missionary I'd been writing. I went to a Mary Kay guest event. I had fun. Now, I'm home and it's less fun. I have to go back to work in about 3 hours and that'll be still less fun.

Hello people. I am requesting assistance for a piece of jewelry that I am in the process of making. I am making a ring out of chain maille; it's a European 6-in-1 weave, and I am struggling with closing the ring. I am beyond confused as to how to attach the two ends. If you'd care to share, please let me know how to close this ring. Thanks!!
